Born in Connecticut, Kim moved to San Diego over 18 years ago. As an avid runner and frequenter to the gym, she is right at home in the active Southern Californian lifestyle. Kim stays busy taking bosu, pilates or kickboxing classes, hiking and overall outdoor fun!

In 1999 Kim and her husband John opened their first of two retail boutiques in Del Mar, California. After six successful years in the business, she decided to pursue her passions for both fitness & fashion, becoming the west coast sales representative for a European activewear company. Today Kim runs her own personal styling and image consulting company called Closet Couture. She understands that looking and feeling good inside and out are key ingredients to personal achievement, confidence and success.

Kim discovered Pure Barre recently after having her second son. She couldn’t believe how fast she was able to re-tone and the added flexibility she gained from attending the classes. Hooked right away, Kim quickly began her teacher-training program and is very excited to join the Pure Barre Solana Beach team.

Kim, her husband, John and their two sons Liam and Oliver reside in Del Mar, where they can often be found jogging with their double stroller through town, hanging out at the beach on 15th street, or sipping a coffee at Starbucks.
