casandra ("c.c.") furey

As a native of Southern California, C.C.'s life has centered around sports since the day she was born - baseball games at six days old, swimming before walking and playing tennis at age five. Her love of all things athletic has lead to a life filled with volleyball, tennis, running and basketball.

Her passion for sports guided her through college where she was a Division I Volleyball scholarship athlete at Georgetown University. C.C. went on to a successful career as a lawyer but never forgot the importance of health and fitness in a well-balanced life. Throughout her career, she was an avid runner and loved trying new sports such as boxing and surfing.

Then she took her first Pure Barre class. Pure Barre opened her eyes to an efficient new exercise technique that provided the muscle definition she was striving for, without the high-impact effects on her joints. She loved that Pure Barre's "focused movements could produce such dramatic results."

C.C. knew that this was her opportunity to have her ideal career - running her own business, focusing on her passion for fitness, and motivating others to live a healthier lifestyle. She is excited to bring Pure Barre to the women of the South Bay and to work with her good friend and co-owner Keri Wilson.
