Sarah was a long distance runner and tore her ACL for the third time while training for the Chicago marathon in 2018. She was devastated when she learned she could never run again and was unsure how she would fill that void. She took her first Pure Barre class in January 2019, at the recommendation of her physical therapist, and signed up for an unlimited membership the same day. She loves how the technique strengthens the entire body- there were some areas she was neglecting by only running! She has now been teaching since summer 2021 and loves helping clients find their best form, whether it’s through challenges in each position or providing modifications for injuries. Pure Barre helped Sarah through so many stages of life- post-op healing, wedding prep, a pregnancy, & postpartum- she can’t wait to keep getting stronger with the PBWS community!
