Josie

Josie was born and raised in Alaska, she married her highschool sweetheart and is now raising her own family here. She first heard of Pure Barre in 2017, tried one online class and decided she absolutely needed to be an instructor. Over the years she has taught a variety of class types but Empower continues to be her favorite to teach and take, although Classic is a very close second! When she isn't in the studio she is with her family usually hiking and biking in the summer or skiing and ice skating in the winter. She keeps very busy homeschooling her four kids but enjoys painting, reading, and thrift shopping when she has a spare moment of free time. Her love of Pure Barre solidified when she saw first hand the benefits of the core strength she gained from taking class. Taking classes through her pregnancies showed her how to modify and pace herself and now she loves to help others do the same!
