Andrea

As the studio owner of Pure Barre, Andrea embodies the philosophy that "how we live today is how we live life." This profound insight, imparted by a meditation coach years ago, has been a guiding principle for her, shaping her discipline and the way she engages with the world. With a lifelong passion for movement, Andrea has embraced an active lifestyle through high school and collegiate sports, alongside her love for ice skating and snowboarding. For her, daily activity is a vital non-negotiable, essential for both mental and physical well-being. Having faced foot and hip alignment challenges from birth that led to inflexibility and imbalance, Andrea discovered the Pure Barre technique as a sustainable solution—one that aligns with her commitment to lifelong wellness. In 2013, when she learned of the new Pure Barre studio opening, she stepped into the role of teacher. From the very first class, she was captivated by the energizing music, the supportive community, and the transformative power of the technique, not only for herself but for the community as well. After 7 fulfilling years of teaching and navigating the challenges of the pandemic, Andrea took a bold step in January 2022 by becoming a franchise owner, transitioning from teacher to studio owner. Dedicated to fostering a genuinely welcoming and inclusive barre community, Andrea remains an active teacher, ensuring that everyone feels welcome at the barre. Residing in Charlotte with her partner, Brad, his daughter, Peyton, and their curious cat, Haley, she cherishes her time off the mic. Andrea also serves as a meditation coach and teacher, and is a lover of the outdoors in her free time. Whether it's on the lake, gardening, hiking, snowboarding, or simply enjoying the beauty year-round, Andrea is committed to living life with gratitude.
