Elly moved to Chicago in 2026 from Florida, where she's been teaching at Pure Barre studios since 2022. Originally from St. Louis, MO, she’s a Midwest girl through and through. As a former dancer, Elly joined Pure Barre originally as a client, looking for community and the ritual of being in a studio daily. After falling in love with the technique, she decided to start teaching. Elly is now trained in classic, define, and reform, with define being her favorite to teach. In her free time, she enjoys reading, needlepointing, playing mahjong, and hanging out with her rescue pup, Scout. She can usually be found with a baseball game on TV when not at the studio!
