Melissa was born in the Chicago suburbs and lived in Florida for middle school thru college. She discovered Pure Barre during a much-needed study break from her nursing boards. The class provided the perfect balance of mental clarity and physical challenge, and was hooked. When Pure Barre Streeterville re-opened under new ownership she took on the role as instructor. She teaches, classic, align, empower and now reform. Outside of the studio she enjoys exploring new restaurants and spending time with friends and family. One thing she cannot say no to is a croissant.
