Maddie R.

A New England native, Maddie grew up in Massachusetts before heading to Connecticut for college, where she played Division I Field Hockey. After graduating, she moved to Maine to coach at a university, eventually finding her way to Colorado Springs in 2017 to pursue her dream job with USA Field Hockey. In 2016, Maddie was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, an autoimmune disorder that causes pain and limits mobility. For years, she struggled to find a workout that suited her needs—until she discovered Pure Barre. Barre has been transformative, helping her reclaim her strength and overcome the challenges of her condition. It’s become her passion, and she brings that same enthusiasm and determination to every class she teaches, inspiring others to feel empowered in their own journeys. Outside the studio, Maddie is a proud aunt to four nephlings and a dog mom to one. She loves spending time in the mountains, relaxing on patios, and, of course, at the Barre. Her life motto: "You never climb a mountain, get to the top, and say, 'I should have just been content to stay where I was."
