Storm

Storm Stokes (she/her) is a transdisciplinary movement artist, editorial assistant, studio manager, and fitness instructor from Detroit, Michigan. Since receiving her B.A. In African American Studies and Dance from Princeton University, she has established a dance and visual arts practice STORMWRKS (DET/ NYC); serving as a performer, choreographer, and artistic director of dance, video, material art, and research writing projects. Her works explore themes of Afro-Futurism, liberation, autoethnography, and material self discovery.
