VICTORIA ROMÁN-SECOR, originally from upstate New York, started dancing at the young age of eighteen months old. She moved to the state of Florida when she was five years old. She began her dance training at the Academy of Dance Arts at Stetson University, Kemper Dance, and Central Florida Ballet. After graduating high school, she continued her studies in New York City at the Joffrey Ballet School as a trainee. She studied rigorously in the Jazz and Contemporary program under the direction of Michael Blake for the next four years. She trained in Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Horton, Graham, Cunningham, Contemporary, Jazz, Street Jazz, Latin Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, and Tap. She has performed at renowned theaters in New York City. During her senior year she studied with Complexions Contemporary Ballet under the direction of Desmond Richardson learning and performing original repertory. She graduated with a four-year Certificate from Joffrey Ballet School in Jazz and Contemporary Dance. She was first accepted into Emotions Dance Company in 2017 and performed with the company for five years. Emotions is a non-profit dance company that spreads social and environmental awareness through dance. In 2020 she received her BFA in dance from New Jersey City University, affiliated with the Joffrey Ballet School. She then accepted a Dance Director position at University High School and taught dance education for three years. In 2025 she relocated to California to continue her teaching profession and professional dance career. She is a dance educator through LAUSD and is actively pursuing performing. She has a passion for fitness and Pure Barre is the perfect fit to expand her dedication for teaching, working out, and dance.
