Classic, Empower, Align, Define, Reform Hi, I’m Kristen! My husband and I have been married for almost thirteen years, and we have an 11yo daughter and two cats. Aside from teaching Pure Barre, I’m a dance teacher at the studio where my daughter dances competitively. It’s so fun and special that we share that passion! I also have a masters degree in reading education and used to be an English professor. I started Pure Barre as a way to stay active during the summer when I was off from dance ten years ago, and I was hooked! I started teaching two years later, and I love being on the mic and leading such an inspirational group of clients. I am certified to teach all of our formats, but my favorite (to teach and to take) is Empower! When I’m not teaching, you can find me reading, cooking, or at Disney World.
