Emma Cunningham (she/her)

Hi, I’m Emma! I moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington for undergrad and nursing school (go Dawgs!). I found Pure Barre my senior year and was instantly hooked. It became my favorite stress relief and self care through the end of school and the beginning of my career as a nurse in the Pediatric ICU at Seattle Children’s Hospital. I fell in love with how unique and upbeat every Pure Barre class is and how I still feel challenged every time, no matter how long I’ve been taking classes. My personal fitness philosophy is that there is a “workout” or movement out there that feels good and exciting for everyone, it just takes finding what the movement is for your body. For me, that has been Pure Barre for the last 4 years. I decided to become an instructor because I wanted to partner with my work in the hospital and focus on the health of my community from a different viewpoint. I love coming alongside our clients to help them feel their strongest and healthiest during their normal day-to-day lives. Every time I teach a class, I hope that clients leave feeling empowered, challenged, and proud of their bodies. I aim for my classes to always be energetic and fiery, while providing a friendly and open environment where you can meet your body where it’s at that day. I hope to see you in class soon! --- Energetic, Fiery, Motivating
