Where are you originally from? Charlotte, but I’ve lived in Winston-Salem for almost 11 years! How did your Pure Barre Journey Start? I started taking Pure Barre back in 2013 to get ready for my wedding. I fell in love with the workout and the people! I went to training about a month after I got married and started teaching in October 2014! How long have you been with Pure Barre Winston-Salem? I’ve been taking for 9 years, and teaching for about 7! What is your favorite part about Pure Barre? I love the community. I’ve really found a home here. I love getting stronger - both mentally and physically - alongside old and new friends! What is your favorite class format? I’m a creature of habit, so I’m definitely an OG classic lover. Although - Define is quickly becoming a quick favorite. What do you do when you aren’t a Pure Barre (other jobs/hobbies, etc) I’m a freelance marketer, designer and creative. You can also find me running after my two boys, (4 and 7!) and my dachshund Gus. On Spring weekends you can usually find me at the baseball field. I also love to craft and practice hand lettering. What is one fun fact about yourself that you’d like to share? My husband Carl and I actually met in Massachusetts while I was living there and he was living in Queens, NY. We only ended up in NC because he was asked to apply at a job at School of the Arts - the rest is history!
