Meet Maria! After graduating from UVM in 2018 Maria found working out to be a lonely activity and more of a chore than it should be. Her college roommate and former PBVT teacher, Julia "Jules" Crane brought her to a Pure Barre class and she quickly became obsessed! What Maria loves about Pure Barre the most is the community! The teachers and members have become some of her best friends and she can't imagine life without them. Her favorite format to take is Empower! The music, the pace, the sweat, & the PLATFORM! Her goal as a Pure Barre teacher is to contribute to the team and studio as a part of our fabulous Pure Barre family. She hopes to show every single person who walks through our door how fun and effective Pure Barre is. Through teaching the Pure Barre technique she wants to share her love for music and the workout with everyone. When she's not on the mic, you can find Maria working full-time on the Alumni Relations and Development team for the UVM Larner College of Medicine. She travels the country regularly to visit with their incredible MD alumni. When she's not on the road you can find her at the UPS Store in the Blue Mall where she and her husband are the franchise owners. Lastly, if she's not working, she's either at Vermont National Country Club enjoying a margarita on the veranda or on her couch with their dog, Tiki.
