I was born in California, but moved to North Carolina in second grade, so I mainly grew up in the Cary/Raleigh area.

During my junior year of college, a friend of mine kept urging me to try a class. I was skeptical, not a dancer in any way, shape, or form. I eventually took her up on the offer, hated that I was clueless and so horrible at it, so I kept going back and eventually they asked me to be a teacher! I soon thereafter became friends with G and urged her to try a class. She has a pretty similar experience, and then we became the best of barre buddies and took classes together our entire senior year of college!

G and I started PBG during the last semester of our senior year of college, so February 2013!

The people, they are truly the best part of my day, every single day. And that fact that I have been doing Pure Barre for over 10 years, and I am still sore and challenge every single class! It is amazing.

I played soccer my whole life, went to college to play D1 soccer, then transferred to UNC and played club soccer there!
