Jessica

Years after starting her career as a local television journalist, an overuse injury limited her ability to carry heavy camera and video editing. Her doctor recommended starting low impact exercise. Jessica turned to Pure Barre. The accessible workout not only served an important role in her rehab, but the structure, community, and fast results were transformative both physically and mentally. She’s been attending class ever since and was encouraged to become an instructor when the first Pure Barre studio opened in Washington, D.C. in 2013. Given her professional background in communications and her thirst to make a positive impact, Pure Barre has been the perfect outlet to use her voice to help others make safer and healthier choices for themselves. Helping clients find their best form and challenge themselves - in the safest way possible - is the ultimate reward. Jessica also loves yoga, and became a certified yoga instructor in 2017. When Jessica is not pulsing at barre, she manages her own public relations consultancy helping clients tell their stories with meaning and impact. She also serves as an adjunct professor within the Department of Communication at William Peace University. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys working on her own health & fitness journey and finding dog-friendly entertainment & vacation spots to visit with her husband and two pups, Parker & Paisley. She hopes to see you at the barre soon!
