Kylie R

Kylie has her PhD in Nutrition from UNC-Chapel Hill and is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Gastrointestinal Biology and Disease. At Duke University, she researches how we can leverage dietary consumption and intestinal health to boost mental health outcomes, particularly in individuals with eating disorders. After two ankle surgeries in 2018, Pure Barre was the first thing Kylie tried to reintroduce movement into her daily life. She instantly fell in love with the workout—both physically and mentally—as she strengthened her muscles, joints, and mind! Kylie loves sharing her passion for good music, balanced exercise, and strong community with others through Pure Barre. Outside of the studio, you can find her going on runs, eating delicious food, and spending time with friends.
