Julie B.

Born and raised in Dallas, TX, I grew up playing competitive volleyball that lead me to play college volleyball at the University of Texas. I knew from the first day of Kinesiology class that health and wellness was where my passion would forever be. I earned my degree in Kinesiology from UT with a specialization in Health Fitness Instructing. Post college, I moved back to my hometown of Dallas and began working as a Personal Trainer at the premier fitness studio, Equinox. In less than a year, I earned my spot as one of the top 100 trainers of the 2400+ trainer company, and climbed the ranks into their top tier Coaching program, Tier X, being one of the fastest and youngest coaches to ever do so. Tier X required a rigorous curriculum of EFTI (Equinox Fitness Training Institute), where I had the opportunity to learn from the most advanced and respected professionals in the fitness industry. I also had the privilege to be one of four certified Nike Trainers in the Dallas area, and ran their group fitness classes and events. A few years later, I left Equinox and moved to Midland, Texas to be with my now husband, where I became manager and lead teacher at Pure Barre. Fast forward to now, my husband and I have began a new adventure in Edmond, OK, where I have my own business of training and coaching clients from all over the country. I am a mama to the coolest 3 year old, Briggs, and 8 month old, Bowen Austin. I am a Precision Nutrition Level 2 certified coach, which is a behavioral change coaching program focusing on the art and the science of nutrition coaching at the elite level. I have been a personal trainer for over a decade, Pure Barre instructor for 6 years, and am a Prenatal/Postnatal fitness specialist/expert. My goal is to share my knowledge and passion with as many people as possible and inspire others to live their highest quality of life through movement and nourishment by working smarter - not harder. It is a privilege to do the work I love and develop rapport and relationships within this Pure barre community; it is truly my happy place, and I am so thankful for each of you!
