Aliya
Aliya was born and raised outside of Baltimore Maryland. She was a figure skater for over 10 years and also danced many styles including tap, jazz, and hip hop. She attended University of Miami for undergrad, where she majored in biochemistry and found her passion for science, leading her to apply to medical school. When she moved to Gainesville for medical school in 2022, she found Pure Barre and immediately fell in love with the technique, people, and the studio. She started teaching in 2023 and you can find her on the mic for Classic and Foundations!
