𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢 – Christina!✨ 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢? I was born in California, but moved to North Carolina in second grade, so I mainly grew up in the Cary/Raleigh area. 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙚 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩? During my junior year of college, a friend of mine kept urging me to try a class. I was skeptical, not a dancer in any way, shape, or form. I eventually took her up on the offer, hated that I was clueless and so horrible at it, so I kept going back and eventually they asked me to be a teacher! I soon thereafter became friends with G and urged her to try a class. She has a pretty similar experience, and then we became the best of barre buddies and took classes together our entire senior year of college! 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙋𝘽𝙂? G and I started PBG during the last semester of our senior year of college, so February 2013! 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙚? The people, they are truly the best part of my day, every single day. And that fact that I have been doing Pure Barre for over 10 years, and I am still sore and challenge every single class! It is amazing. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨? Abs are my favorite part! 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚? I’d have to stick with Classic. The tried and true, original class. The one I fell in love with. 𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙚? Such a tough one! I might have to pull an Aphton and say Pitbull . . . 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙣 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙋𝘽𝙂 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪? I played soccer my whole life, went to college to play D1 soccer, then transferred to UNC and played club soccer there!
