Melinda B.
Melinda has been part of the Pure Barre community since 2018 and began teaching in early 2022. She now teaches all formats—Classic, Empower, Align, and Define—along with specialty focus classes, and became the Lead Teacher at Pure Barre Fox Chapel in July 2025.
Her favorite part of Pure Barre is motivating clients to give their best effort and watching them rise even higher than they thought they could. She believes deeply in their potential and loves seeing them prove it to themselves.
When she’s not in the studio, Melinda is with her family—her kids, Katri (13) and Michael (10), her dog Evie, and her trio of cats: Clybourn, Stella, and Oreo Blizzard. She lives in Aspinwall with her husband, Jon, teaches marketing as an adjunct professor at Pitt, and runs her own marketing consulting practice. Melinda also loves volunteering at her kids’ schools, traveling, skiing, and enjoying all kinds of entertainment and music, including concerts, musicals, ballet, and plays.
