Courtney was born and raised just a little south of Atlanta, Georgia. From a young age she knew she wanted to be a teacher and loved helping those around her meet their potential. She attended Georgia State University in Atlanta in pursuit of a degree in education. After college, she and her husband moved to Augusta, Georgia where she began teaching at a public school there. One day, a teacher friend asked her to go take class at the Pure Barre Studio that was just opening. After the first class she was hooked and soon after she went to training to be a teacher. She went to training in 2015 and taught in Augusta for 5 years. Because of COVID she and her husband relocated to Tallahassee. After being a client for a year she couldn't wait to get back on the mic!
