David McMahan

David McMahan, a native of Orange County, is a graduate of the University of Arizona School of Dance and earned his Master of Fine Arts from the University of California, Irvine. His professional dance career included performing with prominent companies in New York, San Francisco, and Southern California. A highly regarded Pilates master teacher, David spent over a dozen years as a Director for Fletcher Pilates, where he developed and taught Pilates educational programs and continuing education courses across the United States, Asia, Europe, and South America. During his time as Co-President of the Pilates Method Alliance Board of Directors, he played a key role in advancing educational standards and promoting industry research initiatives. Currently, David serves as a faculty member at Orange Coast College, where he mentors and educates aspiring movement professionals. As the Pure Barre Director of Training and Technique, he is dedicated to enhancing the education and growth of the Pure Barre teaching community. David is passionate about inspiring clients through his love of movement, sharing practical knowledge about the body, and creating a supportive environment that empowers individuals to reach their fitness goals.
