Kaeleigh
Kaeleigh grew up in Johnston, IA with a childhood filled with competitive dance. Her love for dance continued through college where she was a member of the Iowa State Dance Team. In 2013 shhe graduated from ISU with a degree in Kinesiology Pre Physical Therapy and shortly after, her husband’s job took them to Minneapolis, MN. Dance and fitness had always been a large part of her life, so when a Pure Barre opened less than five minutes from where she lived – it was fate! She taught her first class in December of 2016 and hasn’t looked back. She transitioned from teacher, to lead teacher, and eventually general manager. Kaeleigh says, “Pure Barre has taught me a lot over the years but most of all it has allowed me to share my joy of teaching and helping others better themselves.”
At the start of 2021, Kaeleigh and her husband moved back to Iowa and settled in Grimes. When not at the studio, she’s working at Elevate Physical Therapy in Johnston or enjoying all things Iowa State, spending time at her family’s cabin on Lake Panorama, or discovering all the new DSM things she’s missed in the last five years. Kaeleigh says, “PBWDM is such an amazing community and I feel so lucky to be a part of it! I teach all three formats and can honestly say I still look forward to teaching and taking a Pure Barre class just as much as I did when I first started. It’s ever changing, ever improving ways keep you on your toes from day one and will continue to challenge you, mentally and physically, for years to come!”
