Emily

Emily began teaching Pure Barre in Virginia Beach where she was raised, but is proud to have called Pure Barre Wilmington home since she began teaching here in 2013. As a former dancer from childhood through college and beyond, Emily was drawn to the Pure Barre technique right away. Not surprisingly, she fell in love immediately and never looked back! Emily is now certified to teach all class formats (her favorite is currently Empower) and truly loves every second of every class, whether she's on the mic teaching it or taking class alongside her PBW community members at the barre. Emily served as Pure Barre Wilmington's Lead Teacher from 2019-2023 and is currently a member of PBW's Leadership Team where she enjoys creating and bringing the best possible Pure Barre experiences to life for both the team and members. When she's not at the barre, Emily enjoys spending time at the beach on Topsail Island, where she lives with her husband, her baby boy, and her mini goldendoodle, Doris.
