I’m originally from NC, but my Pure Barre journey didn’t start until after college when I’d moved to the DC area. I grew up dancing and honestly the musicality of Pure Barre got me hooked, but the energy and good vibes are what kept me coming back! I started taking classes in 2016 and in 2018 I became an instructor at Pure Barre Pentagon City in Arlington, VA. This past April, my husband and I moved to the Kingsgate area (he’s originally from Seattle) and before I had even unpacked my first box I had reached out to Katie to see if she had room for one more in Bellevue! When I’m not on the mic, there’s a near-100% chance I’m at a winery but on those rare occasions when I’m not, you can catch me at a plant store (yep, I’m a #plantlady) or checking out fun restaurants in the area (if you know where a girl can get some good southern food around here, let me know)!
