Emily is originally from upstate NY and exercise has been important to her since she was young. She played soccer through college (go Union!) and then took to running. She completed a few marathons before she started to experience aches and pains and needed to find a lower impact exercise routine. After her first introduction to Pure Barre, she was instantly hooked. She loves how Pure Barre is effective, low impact and challenging no matter how many classes you've taken. By day Emily is a pediatric occupational therapist working with kids in an elementary school and sensory clinic. Outside of Pure Barre Emily enjoys finding new recipes to try, cooking, watching hockey (Go Rangers!) and outdoor activities.
