Kasey
Growing up in Ohio, Kasey was active in swimming and golf. Thinking she may want to go into politics, Kasey went to DC for college and pursued a degree in international affairs. She started a career in college recruitment and advising through an amazing experience with once-in-a-lifetime opportunities (Inaugurations, meeting presidents and celebrities, being late to class because of diplomatic motorcades). Kasey started work for a small college in southern West Virginia, working with high schoolers through all stages of the college entrance process. She took up running during this season of life and completed several half-marathons. In 2015, Kasey moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and continued to work closely with high schoolers to find their best college fits. A chance dinner at a Greek restaurant and looking for an indoor alternative to running led Kasey to a Pure Barre studio during its opening week. She fell in love with the workout and how it continues to challenge every class. Life and world changes brought Kasey to Colorado in May 2020. She started her Pure Barre FOCO for a few masked months of 2020 and then took about a year and a half off to focus on her Library Science degree. In May 2022, she started attending classes regularly again and was able to build connections within the community. In fall 2023, Kasey began training to become a Classic teacher and taught her first classes in January 2024.
