Isabel A

𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢 – Isabel A!✨ 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢? I was born and raised in Washington, DC. 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙚 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩? I took my first Pure Barre class in Charlottesville in 2014 but never really stuck with it. When I moved to GSO, I went to one of the LeBauer Park pop ups and realized I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed it! I signed up for an unlimited membership the next week and the rest is history. 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙋𝘽𝙂? Taking since June 2018, teaching since January of 2019. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙚? The people! I fully credit PBG with making Greensboro feel like home. Shortly after we moved here, I started commuting to Chapel Hill to get my MBA. Joining PBG helped me feel connected to the town I lived in, even when I spent so much of my week away from it. And it has continued to facilitate connections, even as I commuted the other direction on I-40, isolated along with everyone else during the pandemic, navigated early parenthood, and so much more. I love the friendships I’ve made and the milestones we’ve celebrated. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨? Thighs! 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚? There is something I love about each format, but at the end of the day, Classic will always have my heart. 𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙚? Fitz and the Tantrums - Handclap, of course. Honorable mention to any late 90s/early 2000s artist who shows up on a playlist. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙣 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙋𝘽𝙂 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪? I grew up figure skating and playing ice hockey!
