Mandy Michalak
Mandy is a transplant from Connecticut who spent 10 years in Texas where she found and fell in love with Pure Barre after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in 2012. She is married, a mom to 5 kids, active in her church leadership, a client services rep at a local veterinary hospital, and an instructor at Pure Barre Lake Norman.
Her family moved here at the end of 2017, and a few months later she joined the studio as a client as she was deeply missing the community and strength found from Pure Barre. Less than 2 months later, she went to training and was able to fulfill her dream of becoming an instructor. She has loved how many incredible women (and a few men) she has met through Pure Barre. Her team members mean the world to her, and everyday that she gets to teach and be a small part of our clients lives is an incredible blessing and honor.
When she is not at the studio or working, she is with her family usually coaching or attending some sort of sports event. She loves to cook, read, visit local breweries, travel and explore this beautiful state, spend time with friends, and sit in the rocking chairs on her porch drinking wine with her husband.
