Nicole L.
Nicole was raised in Kingston, NH and then went to college at Saint Anselm College where she majored in English and minored in Secondary Education. She now lives in Manchester with her husband, Rob, their baby boy, Asher, two dogs (Swift and Daisy) and three cats (Holden, Oliver, and Pacey).
Fitness wise Nicole has always been involved in something athletic. She grew up dancing (started at 4) and also ran track, played tennis, and field hockey. She started Pure Barre in 2016 and was hooked ever since! She has been teaching Pure Barre since 2019 and teaches all class formats. Nicole is the Lead English Teacher at Pinkerton Academy, where she has been teaching since 2005! She is the National Honor Society advisor there as well. Nicole is a certified curriculum administrator and she has her M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Educational Leadership. You could say teaching is not what she does, it is who she is.
Fun Fact: She is the self-proclaimed biggest nerd. She was 1 of 5 finalists for NH Teacher of the Year in 2017. She also has 5 tattoos, 6th one to come soon! All of her tattoos reflect her love of symbolism (thus, why she loves teaching English), and one is even a quote from Hamlet! All of her pets are named after something literary.
Nicole is an avid reader (shocking, we know), she love traveling to any warm climate, she is weirdly addicted to reality TV and soap operas (hello, The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful), she loves to spin, and her biggest interest right now is navigating new mom life.
