Katy

Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Katy grew up with a deep passion for dance. Starting at the age of 3 and continuing as a competitive dancer until she turned 18. During her time dancing competitively katy gained experience teaching, coaching, and choreographing. From a young age, she knew she wanted to continue dancing in some way throughout adulthood. After graduating from Marquette University with a degree in marketing, Katy made the move to Denver with her high school sweetheart, Sam, and their adorable puppy, Slate. It was in Colorado where Katy discovered Pure Barre. Having a background in dance, Pure Barre resonated with her instantly, offering the strength and power she craved. The sense of community and empowerment she experienced in class was truly inspiring. It was then that she realized she wanted to pursue teaching Pure Barre, so she could share that same feeling of community, strength, and empowerment with others.
