Lisa K.
Lisa was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago and spent her school years as a competitive cheerleader through college. Nearly 10 years ago, she began her Pure Barre journey as a client at the Elmhurst studio and quickly fell in love with the unique combination of mental focus, physical challenge, and supportive community that each class provided.
A few years later, Lisa joined the studio team as a Sales Associate, further deepening her connection to Pure Barre. In 2022, she achieved her goal of becoming an instructor. Shortly afterward, she relocated to California, where she taught at Pure Barre Sacramento for several years before returning home to Elmhurst in 2025.
When she's not teaching at the barre, Lisa works remotely for a market research firm and enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son. She is excited to share her passion for Pure Barre and help clients feel stronger, more confident, and empowered in every class.
