Courtney T.
Courtney was born and raised in Kansas (Go Chiefs!). She started dancing at the age of 5 and continued through college where she was a dance scholarship recipient at Kansas State University. Courtney later auditioned and was accepted to Alvin Ailey’s Professional Division and continued her professional dance career in New York City. Several blown knees and an ankle surgery later, she decided to step away from her professional dance career. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and began a career in behavioral health/social services. In her free time she always taught dance for ages 3-65. After having kids, Courtney searched for a workout format that she would enjoy and her knee hardware would tolerate. It was alot of trial and error, but one day she landed at Pure Barre. It was not love at first sight, but once she started teaching there was no turning back! Courtney was one of the original instructors to teach during Pure Barre Round Rock’s grand opening in 2017. She took a break from teaching to focus on her full-time career in 2018, but the teaching bug never left her. She is so excited to be back at Pure Barre Round Rock. She loves empowering and motivating her class, and thrives off of seeing their growth! Courtney is trained in both Classic and Empower formats.
