“My love for fitness started when I grew up as a dancer in St. Charles. I started at Copeland Dance Academy, then competed with the St. Charles High School Drill Team (Go Saints!) and then I danced for the Miami University Dance Team in college. As my dance career came to an end, I wanted to remain fit and make my love for fitness a mainstay in my life. I became an avid marathon runner, taught Mat Pilates for 10 years, became certified as a personal trainer, and even worked as the Director of Marketing for a well-known national gym brand. After having two kids and completing ten marathons, I started to experience a series of injuries. I gave Pure Barre a try and immediately loved it. It was exactly what my body needed; low-impact, full-body strengthening and toning. Plus, the variety of classes and the friendly Pure Barre community kept me coming back for more. Now, almost 2 years after beginning my Pure Barre journey, I’ve remained injury-free and I still love it! I am so excited and grateful to be a Pure Barre instructor and share my love for fitness and Pure Barre with all of you.”
